Back to Germany

I attended two conferences in Japan, and now am back in Germany. I was lucky that I did not experience very high temperature (higher than 35 degrees) in Japan.

It was my first visit after the big earthquake in March 11th (remembered as '3.11' by all Japanese).

In a bookstore, I found many books about the earthquake and energy saving.
The memory doesn't fade away.
This is a Shinkansen train I took to move from Kyoto to Tokyo.
Most transportation outside the severely affected area is functioning normally.

In the middle, you see an island (= Nagoya airport 'Centrair') from which I flew out.
